I have a couple of tyrnos in front of me. On one of them the drag lever moves much easier then the other, especially on lower end of it's travel arc (free spool to almost strike). The drag lever clicker doesn't engage against the indents on the strike plate until it gets to about strike, so it is silent and sloppy. I replaced the spring and the click shoe, no help. Next traded out the plate, no help. Next I traded out the drag lever, again no help. Seems like the only only thing left to do is shim the plate up. Anybody got a fix for this problem?

on some reel's i notice it make's more noise when a fish is on then when cranking. try setting the drag lower and rip out some line and see if that work's. a stiffer spring maybe?
