May 2012 Trip to Venice Louisiana

I'm scheduling a fishing trip to Venice LA in May this year. 1 day inshore for Redfish and Trout and 1 day offshore. Would anyone have a recommendation for guides?

Pensacola Fishing Forum has a few venice Captains under the "Blue Water Section".  Not a bad place to start since they post their own reports.  Also a good place to get recommendations.

A recent thread to get ya excited.  My cousin has a house down that way and the redfish and trout fishing is simply amazing.  I believe its 25 per person a day on trout and 10 on redfish.  Good luck!

Thanks for the info Timetide, hard to imagine catching 9 Wahoo a day. 87 lbs is a big "hoo". ...lead to some interesting reading between Charter Captain and customer.
