Hi guys- long time lurker... Love this site!   I have a couple old Garcia Mitchell 300's I have been restoring for a friend and was wondering if any one knew a trick to putting the spool on...  The spring needs to lay beside the clicker, and it takes some fooling around to get it right.  The fact that there is a slot in the spool leads me to believe there is a tool or trick to make this easier, but I havent figured it out yet- any suggestions? Thanks!

Hmmm.  Missing parts may explain it...  Where does the stud go?  Would I see it on the schematic?  This is the first of two- maybe I should take the second one apart and see if it has the stud?  Thanks for the quick reply.
