I know your partial to Cal's grease. with it being a teflon base I was wondering if you've ever tried any silicone based grease. We use DC-111 at work and it's a silicone base. I have it in two reels right know and it seems to be holding up fairly well. Just curious.

yeah, i tried slilcone grease once.  didn't work at all.  that was just one time, though.  i never looked at it in a systematic way.  if you try it, please let us know how it works.  alan
