Me and my girl are heading to San Diego in the summertime (begining of Juli) and wondered if there is any good fishing opportunities here? Long range?

You cant go wrong in San Diego if your looking to go fishing....
They are everywhere..........   
Probably the biggest fleet of Sportfishing boats in the U S..

That is great! Smiley I am thinking of renting a mustang or something going on a road trip.. So a meetup is definetly possible! the big question is... How many days of fishing can I get when the girl is being dragged with me... I honestly can't see her on a 36h trip... Smiley
