No, not family Dom, my town is about an hour SE of Rome.
Not comparing anything LI Guy, I know how bad you guys have it up there, just trying to cheer you up.
Send some of those reels my way, if you have some older Senators,I'll even install a double dog for you
.
Take care, Sal

Again, you guys are great. Generous beyond belief! I'm ok with my reel repairs but it's nice to see such support. Thank you. Besides , tinkering with reels has a certain therraputic value.

Well... a box of reels from Sandy showed up..14 of them.
Stella, Calcuttas and lots of TLD's....
Two Accurate Boss 270's
The WD40 trick has been working quite well. I have a dirty bucket for the initial dunking and a cleaner bucket for the final rinse.
Lots of bearing damage. The Trinidad I opened had the drive shaft bearing rusted tight.
One of the calcuttas as well as the Stella has had bearings that would not come around. I use an ultrasonic on bad ones with simple green and another one with diesel in it for the tough cases. Neither helped.
I'm glad the season is over and I have plenty of time with them!
My parts list is going to be extensive!
