Shimano Calcutta te 400 help

I wanted to lube my calcutta after I removed the side plate this white plastic piece was loose and out of place where does this
go? I read all the the calcutta te posts and could not figure out from the pictures. Thanks here are couple pics directing me to the proper location

Without opening my Calcutta TE... looking at the schematics, possibly part # 2688, Cam Backing Plate. It's held onto the right side plate with 2687 Cam backing plate screw(small screw next to the "knob" that opens the left side plate). According to the schematics, there is an o-ring involved.

So I should attach it to the side plate before I put the side plate back on the ree?

I just opened mine up and took photos for you!
Noticed there was no o-ring as per Shimano schematics(not in mine anyway). No worry as I don't see the need. I never unscrew that screw when taking apart my CTE.
