It's time for last minute purchases...

What do you think of giving a fishing reel ?
My wife does not fish.

This came to my mind because I got a kitchen scale last Father's day.

with pink or lavender side plates, and pink fishing line, just make sure your will is in order..... I got my wife a Dyson vacuum for christmas one year, but it really was what she wanted......

Just make sure it's a small reel, just in case she decides to whack you on the side of the head . Also, try not to mount it, she doesn't need more leverage.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

You guys are indeed brave!  I like Sal's advice best - Don't give anything that can be used as a weapon. Shocked Grin

I don't know about mother's day, but I took my wife to the Fred Hall Show on Valentines day.  She was relucant at first until she learned how to pitch bait and won several T-shirts from Okuma for her loving husband (me).  Man, that girl is a shot at skeet, and pitches accurately...she would definitely outfish me in any bass tourney.
