HI

ive got a mag elite that im in the middle of cleaning, the problem i got is removing the drive shaft off the back plate shaft it gets stuck around the top and wont budge why is this is there a trick to get it off.

usually it means there is a burr that is holding it.  if you just keep twisting it, the burr wears down and it will eventually come off.  keep at this one.  there should be nothing more than a c-clip at the top to hold this on.
