My son is like Tim the tool man. He likes souped up toys.  I was going to build him a reel with new frame and spool for his birthday..  Does anyone know of a side plate manufacturer that is still in business without having to buy off of ebay. I know accuplates or gone as well as Lee pro. Any input would be great. I checked the internet and found zip.  thx

I think JVariance is the only one left.  There are some Pro Gear kits like Accurates floating around though.

thx I believe yawl are right jvariance is all that appears left. Basically going to fix him a ll3h  with tiburon frame, spool, and side plates. Dont know which one of us will have more fun me tinkering with it or him fishing with it.  thx again
