For those of you who have been around a while, you remember Roger. He was a regular poster on this site and his last day logged in was November 9, 2011. I recently got curious about Roger and I found that he has passed away. Roger was another one of the good guys. I enjoyed his posts and his help and I'll miss him.

If the reel is important to you, it's worth fixing.
If the reel catches fish, it's worth fixing.
And that is why we enjoy working on reels so much...it means something to someone.

Dominick,
Alan and Bryan have already done that for the group and are working with the family so they can view his posts. Rob

I was reading some of Roger's posts from the past. For those of you who didn't have the pleasure of knowing such a nice guy, here is a little something.
Roger used this line for his signature on his avatar:

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover....

Rest in peace Roger.

Thanks for pointing that out, Sal... it says a lot for the kind of guy Roger was.
All the best to the family,
