Wow....and I still consider braiding a loop into a rope difficult....that was a catfish and an 1/2...time to update the passport.

I looked at the video and laughed.  The last time I was able to get my mouth that close to my foot I was in my cradle.  The kid has talent and most of all flexibility.  Undecided  Dominick

I've watched and watched that PR knot video several times and man, I wish I could really see how it is being done their way.  I finally gave up and watched the fishing videos instead.  Much more entertaining.

Well I did a little experimentation, put your mono spool in a vise with about 6 feet out then pull tight, wrap your braid 22 times around the leader material then pull braid tight and switch directions pulling braid back on itself,it will wrap itself around the wraps of braid you did earlier. Now once this is done do about 10 to 15 halfhitches around leader butt to secure, remember to keep everything tight.Once done really pull on the braid to get it to sinch down cut off braid tag end and then mono, but leave a 1/4 inch.I put this on a 900H with 80# braid and an 80# leader maxed out the drag and my garage door then went for a little run.It held together so I guess it would work even better for smaller braid, next time I go striper and catfishing I will give it a run and see.

It's a good thing Pro Tackle makes a PR Bobbin for $20 for those of us that can't sniff our feet Grin

Found a link with the bobbin in action.
