I have an Okuma Andros. The reel was set at 12 lbs of drag at strike. After 2 uses, the reel no longer has free spool and makes a grinding noise when reeling in. Any suggestions on the cause, possibly a right side bearing? Any help is appreciated.

G'day and welcome rx,
It should've handled 12lb fine but, nonetheless, it appears the right-side main bearing is shot...
That wouldn't necessarily explain the lack of free-spool, but it's as good a place as any to start.
If you open it up, let us know what you find and perhaps snap some pics.
Good luck, Justin

Congrats on the twins rx.
No doubt they'll keep you busy, but things should start to settle down in about 20 years' time... Wink Grin
All the best, Justin
