Wow. Quite an inclusive list. I'd imagine, with a little time, you could find any information you were looking for on any reel ever made.

Tawakoni Terror

Sir; You might want to consider adding Southwest Parts to the list (no vested interest).

They claim to have 4000 schematics on line. The guys that answer the phones are old pros in the reel repair business and always friendly and helpful.

When it comes to researching a bunch of sites, I'm just too lazy. Alan has given us all the ammunition we need here to go to battle and that's great. I personally feel comfortable relying on the information that I get here...I know it's nice to have more then one opinion and one source of information, but also to much information can get you confused and misdirected.

I found out a long time ago in doing gun alterations for competition, there are many opinions and lots of toys and trinkets to add to a particular rifle or pistol/revolver but seldom needed to improve the original design. Here on Alan's site, it's kept straight forward and for the most part simple.

Hello Alan.  I recently came into a small cache of older equipment that caused me to do some research on the Montague City Rod and Reel Company.  Being from Massachusetts, I found the back-story fascinating.  I had no idea that the "worlds largest manufacturer of fishing equipment" was once located in Massachusetts.  I thought you and others may interested in these links to the Montague sites and web pages that I found that address the company and its equipment:

Great info here.  This post would also be good to have over in the "Collectable Big Game Fishing Rods" thread, which should maybe be stickied as well.
