I am going to get a rod made for using at the pier and bridges. I have been using my penn 140 squidder and penn 500 jigmaster on custom rods for awhile but think it might be time to try something new. I like the feel of the squidder and was wondering what your opinion on a good reel to get would be?
                                   Thanks,
                                             Ryan

a narrow squidder 146 might give you a little more distance, but for your application, there is nothing wrong with a hotrodded squidder!
