I'd like one set for the 113H and on the wish list I'll take a set for the 500 and a set for the 112H. Thanks Alan. By the way, the spiral wrapped rod is awesome. Can't wait to use it.

I would like to reserve one set (jacksonville, fl)

do you have your sights on any other gear sets like 500's?

Hi Rob,

I did have a quick chat with Alan T about what gear set I should do next. The following is the wishlist.

1.) Accurate 665
2.) JigMaster 500
3.) PENN 114H
4.) Open suggestions (PENN 112H)

After the 113H is settled, I will start the next one.

Please note that all gear set will be made in 316 grade stainless steel.

I want to know what Alan Tani member's has in mind.

I'd be interested in a set for a 665 when you get around to it and a 500 too.

4.) Open suggestions (PENN 112H)

The 112H uses 5-500 and 13-500 gears, the same as the 500/501.
Yep!
red 3/0 ( 5-500 & 13-500 ) black 3/0 ( 5-66 & 13-49 )
red 3/0 (112H ) is almost twice as fast as the black 3/0 ( 112 )
black 3/0 is slower but stronger than the red 3/0.
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Hi,

I would like 2 sets (RI)

I would vote for 114H next and would take 2 of those as well.

Thanks!

Since I have to April to put some pennies in the piggy bank  :D, I'll take 2 sets for the 113H.  I'm in Washington State.

I'll take 1 set for the 113H (and 2 for the 500 when they are ready). Maine

Sounds kind of hypocritical putting outsourced gears in vintage reels. Why can't someone step up and make them here?
Just saying, Brendan.

Actually, some member did try to find to have them make here in the USA. The price is just out of reach. If you can find a USA company will make this gear set (main and pinion) in 316 grade stainless steel for less than $40.00, please let us know.

By the way, my source is using 316 grade stainless steel stock material from the USA, using a Japanese cutting machine to cut those gears, and having Taiwanese personals operating the machine.

When the product is done, it will be shipped to the USA by FedEx (USA company). I will also have to pay import duties and other fees. Just saying......

Brendan

Not knocking the product, and not trying to offend. I understand people have priced this project to try to get them made. At least you got it off the ground.  Brendan.

First come first served.  I could probably match this price or close but I'd be doing the assembly work at a loss.
