jigmaster gears in newell reels

Will jigmaster 500 gears fit in a newell 200/300/400 series reel?

The Newell 4/1 gears are hard to find and I was wondering if I could use a stock penn set?

The main gear will, but not sureaboutthe pinion.

You have to use the 505 Gear Set. As Bryan said the Main Fits but the Pinion has to be altered wear the Yoke fits & the spool goes through the Pinion.

Just check the fit before any alterations.
