Hello All,

I just picked up an OG P332-F with the original box, bubble wrap, schematics, warranty card, spare parts list, & tubes of Newell grease. Sweet!  ;D
It's in pretty good condition but has some corrosion in the usual areas on the crossbars. I would like to remove as much as I can and was wondering what is the best solution for removing corrosion?

Thanks in advance!

try an old toothbrush and grease first.  a razor blade on a well greased surface works well if you have a light touch.  careful not to scratch up the good chrome, though.
send me an email at alantani@yahoo.com for questions!

I use Salt-X and place the parts in it to soak. You can actually soak the whole reel in which helps to remove corroded screws. I buy the concentrated form so that I can mix up little tubs of it that cover a reel. It also leaves a protective coating on it. After soaking I would still take it completely apart and grease all screws.
