I have one of these that has been sitting in the closet for 2 years waiting for me to get a drag washer. No one has the pressure plate washer that you used so I called Dawn and she is sending me a sheet of 1.5mm carbontex to glue together. They have the fiberglass core so the epoxy will not bleed through.

How much drag have you gotten so far comfortably.

I was thinking of using 50 mono for bluefin tuna.

This reel is beast and will be my first leverdrag reel.

Really nice job ! What epoxy did you use for gluing the new carbon drag washer on ?

If I find the adhesive, I will take a pic. I moved and can't find it right now. It was a special adhesive that bonded items from 2 totally different substrates. about 30 dollars for a small tube.
