cedros coastal spinning- a brief overlook

so as an early birthday present to self i thought i would pick up a nice rig for inshore use. so this is what i ended up with an okuma raw ii 40 and a cedros coastal 7' mh. the part number is CC-S-701MH.  the build of the rod is very nice id say on par with my st. croix avid. strange how one can find enough saltwater gear in a basement in western PA to equip a charter boat...

it has alot of backbone and has no problem lifting up 6lbs of weight off of the floor
the reel seat is sexy
the cork is nice
it balances well with the reel
i've done some casting in my yard of 1/2oz up to 1 1/4oz and it throws well
and the butt cap is comfy
