Boss acurate 870 e serie

I have problems to release my boss acurate 870 There is always a little brake press. it snaps good enough when the arm has returned I have separated it all, but can not see anything that is worn or broken. Does anyone have an idea huh it can be. is there something I have missed?

yes.  usually there is corrosion along the spool shaft.

what Can i do about it?

it's got to come apart, get cleaned and relubed.  with the spool apart, you should be able see how sticky it is.
