I have an old Sportex 30lbs rod with a broken reelseat. The pin inside the reelseat that centers the blank is broken. Had in mind to drill a new hole and replace it. But the pin is at the same place as the adjustable thing where you put the reelfoot..... I don't know the word in english :) . Any ideas ? I haven't seen this kind of reelseat in any stores. Is this kind of reelseat called anything special so I can search ?

It is a locking ferruled reelseat. I believe Pacbay males one. Lakeland also made them but would prob be hard to find. Might have to keep your eye on ebay...
Good luck
Cool
I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6...

Stuart also makes them but Mudhole does not list them.  They will special order but I found it's easier to call Stewart and deal with them, they are easy to do business with.
Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Lakeland still makes a variety of ferruled reel seats. Just bought some
