I cannot get this overhead reel to free spool.  It did not free spool when I got it and it still doesn't after service.  I have the schematics and reassembled it in accordance to the schematic.  Maybe someone can help me.

You may need to put a sleeve between the spool bearings like http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=1199.0

Its also quite possible that the floating pressure plate is always in contact with one or two of the friction plates...Some of the older Penn reels have this problem as well.
