Erik is a very nice guy.  He lives close by to me so we usually meet up somewhere when I need to pick up some CF materials.  He is suppose to have some .5 mm soon too.

Is there a rule of thumb for thickness to application?

0.5 for baitcasters
1.0 for #40(or whatever) upwards

Would this hold up?

Would also like to know what is the most common thickness I would need.will be working on bass reels like ambassadors..then reels from say a 155 penn up to a 9/0   Penn Shimano would be my most common.
