Super Seeker 30 - 50 on Shimano Stella

Hi Guys,

Question regarding a rod and reel pairing, I am thinking about pairing my 2008 Shimano Stella 20000 with a Super Seeker 30 - 50 and was looking for some opinions...

The Stella is spooled with JB 100lb hollowcore and is primarily used for tarpon and shark fishing in South Florida...

Do you guys think this is a good combo or would you pair with another rod?

How much drag are you usually using?  What techniques are you using (poppers, live bait, dead bait, irons/other artificials)?
