Shakespeare Reels

Is Shakespeare still in the reel business? I have an oldie here that I bought in the mid 60's. It was working till I through out the 2 spacers.

#1935 Direct Drive - Free spool - Level Wind Reel

I through out the 2 spacers & I can make new ones but I want to keep it original.

Yes, Shakespeare is now a brand of Pure Fishing.

I got a Basspro catalogue that is full of Shakespeare stuff. Rods, reels...mostly entry level stuff.

I will just make 2 spacers & be done with it. I never plan to use the reel again anyway.

Schematics for old Shakespeare reels are tough to find.  Here's a link that has photos of the 2062 and 2081 schematics:
