Jigmaster Maroon vs Black sideplates

Is there any strength difference between maroon  and black sideplates?
Converting a 500 into a 501 hi speed, prefer the look of the maroon.

Strength should be the same. Maroon is the earlier plate color, black is the later & present color. The 500s red plates are from about the mid 70's.
