annual trip north

450k,s north,this is home for the week,3 boats,2 fishermen per boat,units sleep 3,$135aud each/week,2nd march/7th.

lock garage for the gear

we lost the 1st 3 days because of flood water and rough seas.in the back ground you can see the stained ocean.
dangerous with floating trees and debris
1st night was at the pub,nice meals,$35each+drinks

meet the crew,left, john,robbie,steve(sabrina),paul,steve,best fisherman on the trip

meet sabrina,she was sneeked into the bed with one of the boys that had to much to drink,not sure how they got on ;D

2nd night was bbq,drinks
3rd day still rough
4th day we,re away

plenty of fish,snapper,dhu,s,grouper,tuna
back bones and wings,cleaned and eaten

justin,s tank got a good work-out,hook came out of the mouth and lodged in the pectoral fin
time was between 30mins;/40mins;
shark was processed.i passed on that

clean up and left on the saturday
there are a lot more photos but i havent recieved them yet,

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

islandgypsy, thats what we call a rankin cod,safely released,
all fish are released that we dont eat
shark was eaten,the guys that bit into that were just getting even i suppose
