Finally finish my Rainshadow Jigging built

It took ages, all kind of things happening preventing the completion of that built but its finally done.
I attempted some new stuff like trim bands and dragon scale which I found  difficult to do and will never do again, the result is so so. I choose the red thread to match my 146. I'm overall satisfied with the built and can't wait to try it

It's a 6' RainShadow graphite/glass 20-40lb 150 gram 3-6oz action M power ML

Very nice rod.  Did you add an aluminum butt to the rod and how do you do the but wrap



I really like that but haven't found the time to check out how it is done.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Bryan, it's stainless steel tubing. What I found difficult with the dragon scale is keeping the thread tight together, I wrap this by hand, took forever

I used drywall tape for the scale

It sure does require patience, would not be able to do this for others, that's why I lift my hat to people like you who does this on a regular basis
