I am looking for a stainless steel gear sleeve for a 506HS; any current ideas/ locations/ prices to recommend?

Thanks

PennParts, SmoothDrag, or Alan Tani. I'm not sure of the quantity on hand by the 3, but you can get them from there.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Part number?

Fine thread or coarse thread?   Fine thread 98-505AT  Coarse thread 98-60AT

Is that for Pennparts, Alan, or Smooothdrag?

Thanks

Penn Parts, but any of them will understand what you want.    RUDY

The 506 uses a 98-505AT SS gearsleeve, Alan, Dawn and Scott's will all use the same numbering.  A 98-60AT will work but you will have to replace the fine thread 10-505 drag star with a course thread 10-49 star.
