My Son and daughter on a hot Red Fish Bite

Dominick

Here are granddaughters Sophie and Olivia at Donner Lake.  No fish.

Here we are river rafting on the Truckee River.  That's when I discovered I am too old to fight the big rocks in the river.  Darn things are as hard as stone.   ;D Dominick

Tried to fish from the river raft.  No luck.  Dominick

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Keta

My daughter and granddaughter are more into hunting than fishing.

Daughter's buck from a few years back.

Granddaughter's grouse, she's 6 in the photo.

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

All the photos above look great. Lee, I've seen that photo before.
Your Granddaughter is still one of my favorite.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

The youngest is just learning to walk, learning to fish is next. ;) His sister has got it down already. Everything except getting it off the hook. I don't have any recent pics of my oldest granddaughter, but she loves fishing also.
Not all fishing is done with rod and reel.

I like seeing the kids having fun. I didn't take too many hunting photos because in the state of California...some would look at it like child abuse, what a sad state of affairs. But, Steelfish really cool pics you have there.

Anyway here is some pictures of my son fishing. I did not upload many from his early years but I have tons. His first 3 day tuna trip on the SOA. Maybe a 25 lb  to 27 lb BFT when he was 11 years old.

He is 12 on this trip hooked to around a 50lb bluefin and notice the old school rod I had him on and sorry to say you cant see the Newell reel he was using.

Shaun is now 27 and here is a pic from our last trip. Again a BFT around 27 to
-30 lb BFT but as you can see he has gotten much bigger than the tuna but his hat is still backwards. ;D

Pops and son having a good time fishing.

I will repeat my turn to post a pic of a good time with my older daughter
we caught the same fish at the same time, a nice sized triggerfish bit her hook and they ran like mad only to got all tangled up with my fishing line, we thought it was a double hook set but when we almost finished reeling the fish back realized it was the same fish.

talking about nice tag team work, hu!!

Thanks.
I've Wayne's wife to thank for that pic, she photoshopped out a bunch of old geezers and junk on the beach.
Made us a Mothers Day pic for his momma.
Here is the original.

My youngest granddaughter Maggie, (8 yo) shot her first turkey this spring. She was disappointed that she couldn't go the next day for more. Sorry, Maggie, only one a year.
