As stated before I like to detune the type, model, make , and usually the bright gold anodizing of some of the better reels that I use when fishing on a party boat or a charter boat.  It seems to have a calming look to some of the "competitors".  Why should I fish with junk as others may choose to?   is it camo? or cowardise?
   Here is a Makaira 20 that works great for deep bottom fishing, and works great!
