Funny Bill, I saw two deer on the grounds. One at the guys house and the other next to the gate.

I had to stop on First Street as a gaggle of Turkeys crossed the road.

And finally there were about 50 Honkers mowing the grass between the gate and housing.

I would have never expected that to be the norm.

Yeah, wildlife consider prison grounds a sanctuary.  For some reason CDCR frowns on gunfire on prison grounds 

Turkeys are a menace to shiny cars and cobra chickens are a menace to humans.  Bill

My First Gray Side Plated Reel!

I was doing my normal "Penn Reel" search on the Book of Face and came across this little Monofil No. 25 in gray.

Seller said $20.00 and I didn't even haggle with her. She was, and still is, dirty but will clean up nicely. The free spool is wonderful, once I broke the star drag free and adjusted the spool tensioner, and the clicker is nice and loud for a reel of it's size.

That's how it came from the factory.

It's sure a tiny thing. Looking forward to using it in mountain streams, if I ever get back into fresh water fishing!
