This morning, I am doing an old Tiagra 50 for a client.

Got it all degreased and cleaned up -- ready to reassemble.

Is there an improved Alan Tani Expert ordering lineup for the pre-spring bellviles -- to get maxdrag?

Thanks for the help.

Best,

Fred

there are several possibilities, but i'd start by finding out how heavy the guy wants to fish it and used the softest configuration that gives you that range.
send me an email at alantani@yahoo.com for questions!

I agree with Alan.  Softer/more linear config. is typically better here.  You can go to a more agressive ramp up, but you need to maintain Belleville stack height close to stock, and the top end may be a bit high for practical use.  If he intends to fish holocore 80 or 100, you can order the 50WLRS cam, and go with this reel's Belleville config to get a bit more drag.  Without this more agressive cam, you may get spacing/binding issues with a more aggressive Belleville stack.  You just need to play with it a bit.
