    Well, I got motivated to try to get my beautiful face as my avatar, again.  Tried everything with no luck, just some question marks, and yes I have read every single posting in this thread.
I have a Mac if that means anything.  A little help here... I'm sick of looking like a guest in my own home

I can't even get a picture in the computer. I have a camera / wires or card so I am told. I also have a Smart Phone & just make calls & text. It's in a water proof case so I might use it as a sinker.
