Frying Fish in Covered in Coconut Flour

So I said I'd do it and I did and the result is...NBD.

It's fine as per the pics fried Halibut always is but the flour itself imparts little flavour and has a fine yet gritty texture that sticks in the back of your throat-Not Recommended.

Also I learned today that what we're being offered as 'Coconut Flour' is in fact the ground dessicated meat left after the actual Coconut Milk has been extracted-no wonder it's always On Sale!

Well this super organic stuff I bought was On Sale Cheap like 4 pounds for $2 but I doubt I'll ever buy it again.

Well, the pics certainly look good.

I dip the chunks in Krusteaz batter then rolled them in fresh coconut flakes fried in palm or coconut oil.

Messy during the dipping and rolling but we chow down when they come out and cool a few minutes.

Experimenting in the kitchen.
Not always as fun as in the chemistry lab, cause you have to eat your mistakes.
