 I am confused ((nothing new)  :D :D

I found a 113H with a newell kit that I thought was same width as a HLW, but somehow it is wider than that. ??? This wide kit is now sporting Cortez plates with every internal upgrade known to mankind. It weighs in at a full 3 ounces less than a T4N. Believe it or not !!

Here is a couple pics to show width comparison and still scratching my head.  :D....The green reel is standard width

This might be a Broadbill Special. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me will know the width.

I think it was called the Marlin Special or maybe that was the widened 114HLW.        Rudy

Nice find! Yes, as others mentioned the extra-wide 4/0 kit from Newell was called a "Broadbill Special", while the "Black Marlin" was a similar kit for the 6/0. Accurate also had their own super-wide 4/0 conversion--the Broaderbill.
