Mark - the coral has made astonishing comeback. The biggest threat these days is form the Lionfish invasion.  We have a bunch of volunteers that go out a few times a month on Lionfish hunts to keep them in check.

Aiala - Hotel on the Cay is still there and continues to be a nice place.  Good to hear you grew up on St THomas!  One of these days when I finally grow up, I'll let you all know the location!

Welcome!   I spent a few day on St. Croix as a kid, and recall the local boys using soda-can fishing reels.  Snorkeled for hours and hours and played with an octopus that crawled into a conch shell.  Cruzan rum is good stuff and not too dear!
