I finally fished the reel.  Using a pro gear clamp on a Calstar 196 deck hand for sand and calico bass with a good sized sheep's head thrown in.  What a great sized reel, easy to palm, light and plenty strong for 15lb.  Now I'm collecting the parts and pieces to upgrade but it's fine to fish for a long time just with the new drag stack.

Thank you Alan and all of the contributors for a fantastic resource!

It's the same reel as a Penn 180 Baymaster.  Used one for years great back bay reel. 155, 160, and 180 side plates all interchange the model number on the plate is the only difference between the handle side plate. The other side plate with the clicker is the same on all three reels.
185 is the Baymaster without the star drag.
