Hi,
After visiting more and more frequently, I decided there's just too much going on here not to join in.   I live in the Pacific Northwest, fish SE Alaska and an occasional SD offshore trip.  A few years ago my Granddad handed down some Sixties era Penn reels as I started heading to Alaska in the summer... he used them in the Aleutians back in his day.  Of course I wanted to know their history, how to rebuild them, upgrade, etc.   Between Alan's tutorials and Mike C's schooling, I now have around 40 Penns from 1933 to the latest, greatest Torques.   I'll have to get a pic or two to post in the "collections" thread.  Happy 2017!

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.
