well, this fishing rod just had its 3rd upgrade      what can I say I was kinda bored and I asked my youngest daughter if she wanted another fishing rod or want me to put better fishing guides on the one she already have, she just said she wanted to keep using the same fishing rod, so, I take the guides with solid SS ring out and put some with ceramic inserts, 1st guide is a fuji Kw and the rest running guides are American tackle with ceramic gold rings, this setup will work better with the braided line we use on our fishing reel.

the wrapping thread is bright pink with a more vivid color than the pink thread it has before.

That looks great as always,I know she will keep that as an heirloom & pass on to the next generation.I may have missed it ,but I have to ask what reel will she be using on that pretty rod?

when she was 6 y.o. I paired the fishing rod with a Shimano Sonora 4000 reel which was pretty small and light few years later I paired the rod with a Rover/Silun 4000 (Penn related Aussy brand) and now its paired with a Penn Fierce 4000 with 40lb braided line and 20# mono long leader

It's funny I have 2 coworkers who have exactly that problem. Their wives dads trained them well.
