As I recall a Jayhawker was/is someone from Kansas , maybe the store is there

  Red Legs and Jay hawkers were not initially the same or reffered to  as such , at least not early on in the history of either group . That did change later on .
I was only reffering to the post civil war era when  the term was used to refer to people of Kansas.
