Thanks for the help Tom and Sal. What would have been nice is a progear schematic that listed the parts with the penn part numbers and their own parts numbers,maybe there is one somewhere.
I put a stock keyed washer on top of the drag stack and the top hat washer on top of that which looks like it might work but didn't have time to fool with it.
I have a 6480 seeker s glass pinhead blank to build to put it on, the boat I've been fishing on is a bit narrow so the normal 10 footer is just too long. Pretty lame excuse for another outfit but I'll stick with it, worked on the wife.
