Hi everyone,

After a long quiet spell for me over here in good old blighty, I managed to pick up this 113HLW, gave it the obligatory strip, clean, re-grease and a good buff and polish, and here are the results, quite pleased at the outcome.

Mike,

It can't be too difficult - a lot of people do it.

Gorgeous reel Mike. I had one of the same I let go for under $100 last year...I could kick myself.
The box does look familiar, but mine sold in the states.
Enjoy that beauty.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Thank you all for your kind words.

I was a bit sceptical with the purchase as it had line on the spool (think corrosion) but took a chance because the rest looked clean.

Buffing machine and Nevr-dull and got it to sparkle.

Regarding posting photos, I had some excellent help from happyhooker I am just too dumb with computers, doing something wrong somewhere.

I managed to set up a category and add a photo but then got stuck how to add it to the post.

As I don't post a lot of photos I thought of just attaching them to the post as happyhooker suggested, clicked on additional options, got the file into the attach box but couldn't see how to add it into the post, sorry for being so dumb (I don't even use a mobile phone!!)

Thank you for posting the photo for me mhc, I couldn't seem to find any inset photo icon, perhaps I missed it.

Mike.

WOW, that's one sharp reel; lot of TLC musta went into it.

Don't worry about the "dumb with computers" stuff.

Hi Frank,

I think I am better at polishing reels than using computers ;D
