Yes, thanks Codhead. Another company that makes a similar tape is 3M with the Coban name. Same characteristics, used in the medical care industry. Check your medical supply houses, chemists/pharmacies.

Here's a link to kevlar tape. I use it for carving and flyfishing thumb and index fingers to stop line burn on big silvers. Now if I can just stop the knuckle busting! :o

I'm a big fan of the finger tape that Charkbait sells.  After buying from them, I realized that they are just repackaging this stuff.  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NHB4BY/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i00

Keta

Any vet supply or feed store sells it as Vet Wrap at a much lower price.
Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Yes, looks like the same stuff.  I bought a case (30 rolls) of 1" tape from Amazon for $15 bucks.  Looks like vet wrap is priced similarly.

Squirmypug

I will try to find some of that tape, thanks guys.

  Also..this thread is old  :P
I'm not talkin' 'bout pleasure boatin' or day sailin'. I'm talkin' 'bout workin' for a livin'. I'm talkin' 'bout sharkin'!

X2 on what Keta said. The stuff is also known as "self-adherant" dressing. Used as a wrap around the ankle area of horses and Vet stores have the best prices. You can get similar (but cheaper quality) at the dollar stores.
