Old thread...  Seems to me that someone could make decent money selling refinished chromed brass parts.  Does anyone do this commercially?

Has anybody tried Duplicate-Color Custom Wrap spray paint? It works on chrome.

I've been wanting to try Plasti-Dip which looks pretty similar.   No doubt it will work.  I guess it is a bit thicker than paint, so I would look out for tolerances where a painted part gets attached to another surface fo the reel.   I wonder how it will last...   They use it for car rims, but it is not permanent -- peels off, which could be a plus.

Plastic dip is very thick and may play havoc with parts fitting. I question if it will bond to chrome.
