Got to Love Sears

When I bought my house 25 yrs. ago, bought a bunch of Kenmore appliances and the place already had a Kenmore stove; when I needed a new bigger freezer to replace a Monkey Wards one (still worked good), shopped around...and ended up with another Kenmore.  I heard about Sears and Whirlpool having a bit of a failing out, but my understanding was Whirlpool was still gonna make some Kenmore, but just didn't want Whirlpool sold as Whirpool at Sears stores.

Craftsman might not have had the "Cadillac" rep for tools, but I've always liked them & blue collar guys from 30-40 yrs. ago swore by them.

Fred, I think you're right about Sears' current status and likely ultimate fate, but hoping against hope you'll be wrong.
