Hi Guys ,

Have been a fan of the Poseidon reels for a while now , not one of the more well known of brands though , I am looking for a supply link for any online stores that stock the parts for the various jigging reels models . I have a 200r and a 450 r , any help or info at all in regards to these reels would be hugely appreciated

Regards

Not much information around about those reels.  Check this thread.  http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=6403.0 Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

I just got my 200R today. I am about to return it because the drag adjusting knob, the one sitting underneath the lever drag is stuck. Can't rotate it either way and not willing to use pliers. As such, I can't adjust the drag of the lever. If I turn the clicker on, I need to move the lever drag almost to strike before the spool starts rotating. Not quite right, I suppose.

Examining closer, I found out also that moving the lever to "free", does not disengage the gears, it simply reduces the drag to almost zero. Not quite zero, because the spool will rotate as you turn the handle.

The only thing that seems to slightly adjust the drag is through using the cast control knob on the left side. Not the correct functioning, I suppose.

Since you own a 200R, can you share your thoughts before I return this reel?

Thank you
João
