Well restoring is maybe a little bit of an overstatement.
I bought a Quick 110 on ebay, and waited a brief eternety for it to be shipped from california to sweden.

It was good shape looking fine, but a little hard to roll.

Taking it apart (with Fred Oakes guidance) and cleaned it with white spirit, an accident occured. I spoiled the finish of the handle shaft holding part (i paniced somewhat and did not thought about documenting this in picture.

So in panic i paint brushed first the part that was dull due to the white spirit, then I had to paint it all.
So the reel turned out fine (in my opinion) but maybe it would have been nice with the original finish. And i rolls Damn quick!

Edit, a newbie here so i hope for patience if the post is misplaced, and as always i hope my level of english is excused.
