Picked up 6 reels for $10 yesterday and this one looks interesting. Does anyone know anything about these? Honestly I have not looked yet and probable will not crack it open for a while as I am swamped with reels for customers.
Other reels are a King Fisher with wood handle knob, an Albatros spinning, Shimano Sahara 3000FD, and a Hi-Thumb, not shown a Garcia Mitchell 320. The Phlueger, Albatros and Hi-Thumb, and King Fisher intrigue me.

Those old Pfluegers are decent reels. I don't have an Ohio but I have a few other models. All six of those reels for $10 is a great buy. 8)

I think the internals on the 1978 are very interestingly designed.

Yeah, you got a "reel deal", on those !
There's nothing wrong with a few "F's" on your record....Food, Fun, Flowers, Fishing, Friends, and Fun....to name just a few !

Yeah Andy, I finished cleaning it up and what an interesting internal design. It works well but the salt has pitted the bright work and spool. Internal where great. Blue grease looks green here.I do not intend to fish this, just nice to have been saved.
